Why Mentorship?
Because opportunity shouldnβt depend on your zip code.
Households in BayviewβHunters Point experience poverty at nearly 42%, almost double the citywide poverty rate β a reality that affects many young peopleβs access to stable resources.
Our Impact:
Since 2004, weβve been fighting to end the generational cycle of poverty in our Bayview neighborhoods. This past year, we are proud to report our accomplishments that have led some of our youth down successful paths. We thank everyone who has supported, donated, volunteered, and shared our mission of building brighter futures for Bayview youth. Read our full report on how you helped drive our mission forward.

Our Programs
Mentorship
City of Dreams provides Saturday field trips, 1:1 mentorship, and after-school support for young people living in public housing. We know positive adult presence contributes to the fight against marginalization and delegitimization of Black and BIPOC youth. Our mentors support our youth in achieving their personal and academic goals through 1:1 and group mentorship.
Earn2Learn Gardening
Earn2Learn is our seasonal 6-week gardening and financial literacy program where kids are educated on the life cycle of plants and in turn receive an allowance as compensation. This program educates our youth on healthy eating habits, the importance of sustainability, composting, and horticulture in hopes for them to implement a healthy lifestyle in the future.
Project Zoe
Project Zoe is a youth-led life skills course that is designed to help individuals understand how powerful they really are. This foundational course allows youth to take ownership of their lives by learning key lessons that will assist them in making lasting and meaningful decisions.
Thank you to our past partners and supporters!
