Our Jr. Mentor Program seeks to engage our older youth, challenging them to take on new leadership roles among their peers and in their communities. The foundation of the program revolves around three key areas: financial literacy, leadership and governance. Each quarter, our Jr. Mentors participate in retreats, activities and seminars designed to progressively develop their knowledge and skills in each of these areas.
Our Junior Mentorship Program is available to kids to complete the basic two-year program and display maturity, leadership, and willingness to share what they’ve learned. As Junior Mentors, they receive extensive training and, through progressively greater responsibility, learn the skills they need to become future leaders in their community. They serve as positive role-models for their peers while learning accountability, responsibility, and the importance of contribution.
