2011 Holiday Party in Oakdale
Help our youth Catch a Dream! Join City of Dreams at the Oakdale Community Center to celebrate the holiday season at our 2011 Holiday Party in Oakdale on 17 December 2011. Play games, create holiday works of art, eat and be merry! We will also have a special awards ceremony to honor some of City of Dreams’ all star youth and volunteers from 2011. So come on out to celebrate this time of year with the families, community members, volunteers and staff.

6th Annual Bowl for the Kids
Inspired by the devastating shooting death of one our brightest students, Marcus Law, Bowl for the Kids was launched six years ago to raise awareness and funds to support San Francisco’s most challenged youth, providing them with the mentorship and youth development critical to helping them succeed in school, live a life a free of gangs, drugs/alcohol and teen pregnancy.

Where: Presidio Bowl
Proceeds: All proceeds benefit City of Dreams, a mentorship program serving youth living in San Francisco’s public housing communities.
Bootleggers Ball 2010
The Bootlegger’s Ball is a City of Dreams production, co-hosted by the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, Kimpton Hotels,
Joe Belluomini, Gian Paolo Veronese, and Tim Farrelly.
It’s 1919 and The Prohibitionists have won the vote. “The Devils Water” and Gaming Halls have been driven underground. Bootleggers are born. Speakeasys flourish. And the spirit of ancient Babylon is reborn! Enter this forbidden world of charletans, temptresses, and outlaws. A brassy band blows while the Burlesque girls kick. Get lucky tonight! Place your bets at card tables, craps, roulette, a high stakes Texas hold ‘em tournament, a grand prize or a sure thing silent auction. The food will be heavenly, the liquor illegal, & the entertainment a buzzing blend of old world meets new.

5:00 pm Texas hold ‘em tournament, advanced tickets only. 4:30pm registration. Cocktails and appetizers served.
