At City of Dreams our mission is to help youth living in low income housing build brighter futures through mentorship and youth development.

On April 30, 2006, a former City of Dreams mentee fell victim to his environment. Marcus Law was gunned down and killed coming home from a friend’s barbeque. Marcus was described by those who met him as “intelligent”, “articulate”, “well-mannered”, “respectful”, “bright”, “a leader”, and with “all the potential in the world.”

On April 30th, 2009 we will honor the life of Marcus Law, raising funds to support our city’s most challenged youth, at the 4^th Annual Bowl for the Kids event in San Francisco.

What: Fundraiser & Community Awareness event, in memory of Marcus Law

When: April 30th, 2009 from 8:45pm-midnight

Where: Presidio Bowl in San Francisco(We’ll be the very last event before Presidio Bowl closes their doors!)

Proceeds: All proceeds benefit City of Dreams,a mentorship program serving youth living in San Francisco’s public housing communities.
