THE CITY OF DREAMS TEAM

 

Roxane Thompson, Executive Director

With over 25 years of non-profit experience, Roxane brings her passion for serving others and her professional skills to the efforts of City of Dreams.  With a degree in Natural Health, Roxane’s focus is on creating greater good.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Break Through the Static and is a volunteer at the Marine Mammal Center on the Thursday Harbor Seal Crew.

 

Jessica Thomas, Administrative Coordinator

Jessica graduated with a degree in Sociology and Psychology from University of California, Davis.   She specializes in organizational analysis and development, with a focus on organizations in the nonprofit and nontraditional business sectors.  Since graduation, she continues to work as a research consultant for sociology scholars in the fields of political collective action, labor relations, work and occupations, and immigration.  She is currently Secretary to the Board for a local chapter of Amigos de las Americas, an international youth and community development organization.

 

Lottie Titus, Community Liaison


Lottie has been a Community Advocate for 15 years within San Francisco’s public housing communities and has been instrumental in providing youth and families with information and resources throughout the bay area. We are proud to have her as our Community Liaison for the families and youth of City of Dreams.

 

Mike Yoshioka, Program Director

A graduate of San Francisco State University, Mike has served as a youth development professional in the Bay Area for over five years and as a manager of educational programs for over 3 years. Mike also serves as an on-call naturalist for Hostelling International and a volunteer faculty member of Bay Area Wilderness Training.

 

Matt Violet, Intern

A recent graduate of UC Davis, Matt brings enthusiasm and creativity to the outreach efforts of City of Dreams. In addition to providing administrative support, Matt has created newsletters, logos, and other fundraising materials to extend City of Dreams’s presence in the Bay Area.

 

Vanessa Cheng, Intern

Vanessa is a San Francisco native who graduated from the University of California, Davis, double-majoring in International Relations and Sociology – Social Services.  Along with dedicating her time at City of Dreams, she is also an intern at the AsianWeek Foundation as well as a volunteer at ReadingPartners and Kaiser Hospice Services.  When she is not busy serving the community, you can most likely find her exploring the city with a handy cup of chai tea latte in hand.

 

Vidur Malik, Intern

A Fremont native and recent graduate from UCLA, Vidur is very interested in the field of education.  He is looking forward to applying his experience in tutoring and mentoring in his work at City of Dreams.
